MyLot - The Online Discussion Group

MyLot is an online discussion group that pays you money when you participate. But like any website, there are good and bad sides to it.

Pros:

+MyLot is a friendly community. There are people there from all over the world, and most of them are very helpful. When you post a discussion about a personal issue or problem, they’re very good about being respectful and helping as much as they can.

+There is a very wide variety of interests that you can take a look at, and within each interest are tons of discussions.

+The rules of the site are listed very clearly in the TOS. There is no spamming or referral links allowed in your posts or discussions. If they find that you have violated that, you won’t be in huge trouble, but your post will be deleted.

+MyLot is also a great site to learn about other good paying websites. Many people start discussions over how to make money, and even more people have links in their profiles to good money-making sites.

+There are many ways to earn money – uploading pictures, creating and responding to discussions, rating comments, and doing tasks.

However, there are a few downsides to the site as well.

Cons:

-Money is slowly earned on MyLot, unless you dedicate yourself. You won’t always make the same amount every day, some days you’ll earn more and some days you’ll earn less.

-How you get into the bigger money is with referrals. If your referrals are active, you’ll get paid for their activity.

Nobody really knows what MyLot’s exact earning scale is, however there are a couple things we know. You aren’t paid for the quantity of posts, but for the quality. You can’t simply post something like “Cool” or “LOL Nice” or “Me Too”. Your responses have to be at least a couple sentences, and should be in as well of English as you can type.

Also, you have a personal rating. Once you reach a certain amount of posts, you’ll get a star by your name. When a person rates your comments or discussions higher, your rating goes up. That works the other way around – if they rate you down, and you get many negative ratings, your rating will go down. I personally have earned $7.19 from this site. I just recently began earning more, since my personal rating has gone up. So we’ll see how well they pay, and if they pay in a timely manner.

All in all, I rate MyLot an 8 out of 10. Go check it out for yourself, and see what you think of it!

Why Am I Here?

Most of us are suffering the consequences of these bad economic times. Some of us have had to move, try for government programs, or take on a second - or even a third - job. Most of us are just a little stressed out when it comes to holidays and birthdays where we’re obligated to give a gift. Some are struggling just to pay every day bills! So I’m sure I’m not the only one who’s started looking for another source of income, or even just a little extra pocket change. I’m here to tell you all about some of the great online earning programs I’ve tried. I’m all over the map, so here you’ll find reviews and links to PTC sites, paying social networking sites, paid-to sites, and even reviews where I’m in the process of trying a new program.
